Incorporates a 22 mm exposed length of 5 mm OD 316 stainless probe, the short round tip probe has a small over mold to improve resistance to moisture and provides cable strain relief. It comes with a 1.5 m (4' 11") cable. The probe end and cable are FDA food rated including the cable.

For extending external temperature sensors, the external sensor extension cable has a 5 meter (~16' 5") length. The socket end of the cable (which accepts the sensor plug) is fitted with a flexible sleeve that when the sensor’s plug is in place will protect the mated connection to IP61.
