For fast cutting or cleaning, the nozzle should be no larger than necessary for the compressor to maintain 80 psi when blowing continuously. Uni-ram ships its pressure sand blasters with 1/8" (3.2 mm) ceramic nozzles as standard; relieve tank pressure with the pressure release valve before changing nozzles.
