The Roofing Inspector Kit allows for point-of-contact, non-destructive checking of moisture conditions in roofing and waterproofing systems up to approximately 4 inches in depth with the RWS Roof & Wall Scanner. The kit also allows for non-destructive measurement of moisture conditions in concrete decks and pin readings in wood decks and roofing materials, relative humidity readings, and ambient and dew point conditions using the Tramex CMEX5 digital moisture meter and probes. ROOF AND WALL SCANNER - RWS
The Tramex RWS Roof and Wall Scanner is a multi-mode non-invasive impedance scanner
designed for the instant, precise and non-destructive evaluation of moisture conditions and leak tracing in roofing per ASTM D7954 and in wall systems of the building envelope.
CONCRETE MOISTURE ENCOUNTER X5
The Tramex Concrete Moisture Encounter X5 is a non-destructive digital multi moisture meter for concrete decks providing instant and precise quantitative measurement of moisture content of concrete using Gravimetric testing as a baseline. The CMEX5 incorporates a built-in hygrometer and plug-in ports for the relative humidity probe and pin-type probe testing of roofing materials.
INFRARED THERMOMETER - IRT2
The IRT2 is a handheld, dual laser, non-contact Infrared Thermometer with 12:1 distance to spot
ratio and audible and visible high/low set point alarms. It is used to measure and display surface temperatures within the range of -58ºF to 1202º (-50°C to 650°C) and has an accuracy of approximately 1 to 1.5% (see Specifications for details). The IRT2 has a fast response time (0.15 sec) and is powered with a 9V battery and complies with Class II UK/EU laser safety standard EN60285.
