Inlet filter prevents glass pieces and dust from entering the shaft
End-of-flow indicator in the handle turns white when the gas sampling is complete
Pump stroke counter is rotated to keep track of the number of strokes completed
Using the standard number of pump strokes, the concentration of the gas is read from stain length directly matched to the printed scale after the listed sampling time has elapsed
