Two alnico magnets act as the thermometer's base and hold it in place on ferrous surfaces
Bimetallic sensor is a specially processed alloy that is preconditioned and pretested for permanent calibration and maximum stability
Sensor is located in a draft shield and is in virtual thermal contact with the surface to be measured, giving it a relatively quick response time
Reaches sensing equilibrium (stability) within three minutes
Accuracy is ±2% of ful scale
Time Constant is from rom 0.06 to 1 min. (depending on range)
