Built with a glass-filled nylon body, this Type T male 3-prong snap-in thermocouple panel jack is rated for use over -20 to 356°F (-29 to 180°C). It accepts stranded or solid thermocouple wire and uses ANSI/IEC color coding for fast, correct connections. Moreover, it is used for connecting thermocouple wire and probes to extension wire and instruments.

Mounting hardware has been eliminated in the TPJ-style panel jacks by including the retaining spring clips as a part of the body design. A small tab and notch are provided to maintain straight, even rows without the need for precision machining. The TPJ color-coded jacks accept OTP-style 3-prong male connectors, and are available in ANSI calibrations J, K, T and E, as well as uncompensated for RTDs and thermistors.
