Made for on/off media control, this solenoid valve is a 2-way, normally-closed, pilot-operated valve with a 1/2" port and a 3.4 Cv flow coefficient. Its 316 SS body with FKM seals handles up to 200 psi (13.8 bar) on AC or 85 psi (5.9 bar) on DC and operates to 280°F (137°C). With an AC or DC coil, it works great for hot water and steam service.

SV170 Series 2-way 316 SS solenoid valves are internally piloted. They feature 316 stainless steel construction and FKM seal material.
The temperature range of 14 to 280°F (-10 to 138°C) and the FKM O-ring make these valves ideal for many aggressive liquids and gases.
