OMEGA SRFGA-842/2-230V Offers

Silicone Rubber Fiberglass Insulated Heaters can improve heat transfer and speed warm-ups where controlled heating is required in confined areas. Two circuit designs are available: etched foil or wire wound.

Heaters with etched foil designed elements are available where the length or width dimension is less than 10" (254 mm). All other heaters where both the length and the width dimensions exceed 10" (254 mm) use the wire-wound element design.

Two general styles are covered in this manual. Round silicone rubber heaters and rectangular silicone rubber heaters.

Applications

  • Freeze protection and condensation prevention
  • Speeding warm-ups in confined areas requiring controlled heating
  • Process equipment and pipe heating
  • Heating flat or curved metal surfaces via PSA or RTV attachment
  • Instrument and enclosure temperature maintenance
  • Freeze protection and condensation prevention on instrument enclosures
  • Laboratory and OEM surface heating
  • Maintaining process temperature on tanks, pipes, and vessels
  • Tank, drum and container heating
  • Providing localized heat to electronic components on a heat sink
