This Type J female 3-prong miniature thermocouple connector has a glass-filled nylon body and is rated for use over -20 to 356°F (-29 to 180°C). It accepts stranded or solid thermocouple wire and uses ANSI/IEC color coding for fast, correct connections. Common uses include connecting thermocouple wire and probes to extension wire and instruments.

OMEGA's subminiature connectors are molded of high performance glass-filled nylon. Connectors will accommodate protection tubes from 0.010" to 1/8" (0.25 mm to 3.17 mm) O.D. Bushings can be purchased for an additional cost; order BB-SMP-1.
