Designed for non-contact temperature tracking, this data recorder and alarm device utilizes an advanced medical-grade infrared sensor to monitor target surface temperatures. The BLOCK INFRARED is designed to accurately monitor temperature from a distance, making it ideal for applications where direct contact is impractical or unsafe. It covers a wide temperature range, making it perfect for energy audits that require long-term logging of surface temperatures, such as building walls or windows. With a narrow 1° field of view (FOV) and medical-grade accuracy, it records and sends alarms for both target and ambient temperatures separately.
The advanced alarm function sends automated phone calls, text messages, and emails when measured values exceed or fall below adjustable thresholds for two parameters, plus digital inputs. Alarms can be triggered immediately or after values remain outside the threshold for a set period. It also detects trends, sending email alerts when a specified percentage change occurs over time.
The BLOCK INFRARED provides detailed data on temperature fluctuations and environmental conditions, ensuring continuous monitoring of critical parameters. It generates comprehensive reports, graphs, and statistics, offering valuable insights for optimizing operations and maintaining safety. With customizable recording intervals from 1 minute to 30 minutes (or down to 2 seconds), users can tailor data collection to their specific needs.
