Eliminating the "humping and jumping" effect at the end of each stroke, this straight line reciprocal sander uses a two-cylinder common piston design with twin-drive gears for balanced movement. The 6 lbs (2.7 kg) 4 oz (113.4 g) sander operates at 3000 SPM and incorporates a 2-3/4" (69.8 mm) x 16-1/2" (419.1 mm) pad for consistent material removal across large workpieces. It requires 6.2 cfm at 90 PSI, utilizing micro-honed cylinder walls to reduce internal drag and maintain speed throughout the reciprocal cycle.
