Compact and ideal for space-constrained applications, this RTD probe to USB adapter measures 100 Ω Pt100. Additionally, this calibratable converter provides ±0.108°F (±0.06°C) accuracy temperature measurements using a 2- or 3-wire sensor connected using a 3-screw terminal block.
This resistance temperature detector (RTD) connected to USB supports all 2-wire and 3-wire Pt100 probes, such as the one offered by Dracal. The sensor wires are secured using the RTD223's screw connections for a robust installation. With its 18-bit precision electronics, small temperature variations can be detected. The RTD223 is, therefore, suitable for a wide range of applications. This device is designed in a compact key format for easy integration, even in applications where space is limited. The unique serial number assigned to each unit allows for data traceability and certification. Multiple units can be simultaneously connected and operational on the same USB HUB or computer. Additionally, the RTD223 is equipped with calibration options and a virtual COM port mode for direct data integration without third-party software.
Like all Dracal measuring instruments, the RTD223 is compatible with free software tools, making it an essential component of a DAQ solution. For those looking to integrate the RTD223 into their system, two options are available: command-line tools and VCP mode (VCP- model, sold separately). If you prefer a graphical interface, DracalView is the appropriate choice.
