The industrial direct insert thermocouple probe is composed of 18 gauge wire covered with Magnesium Oxide insulator. The sheath is made from 316 stainless steel and the aluminum head has a sealed cap protecting the terminal block from dust and moisture. The head has an opening side for a 3/4" NPT(F) connection to the electrical conduit.
